Kirada Inks

Hello there, patron! First of all, I (Carrie "Kirada" Shaw) would like to personally thank you for so much as viewing my web page. However, it's only temporary! For the sake of professionalism, I am currently working to have my own domain (thus, my own website!). It probably won't happen for some time now, but look forward to that.

At the present moment, I am making my own graphic novel! It follows the various adventures of my character of nearly 10 years, Kirada MacNiall, in her journey through a miserably grim lifestyle. I've gone about to make my very own species/breeds for this comic, and am working on other scientific made-up-junk to run suit with it. In case you didn't already know, I am a very enthusiastic wildlife/nature artist, though I mainly draw canines and a few large felines (such as the Mountain Lion, African Lion, and Panther/Jaguar/Leopard). I work with 100% traditional methods, which means that I only work with things such as charcoal, ink, colored pencil, graphite, and paints. Every so often I will use digital methods, but it isn't the latter, and I prefer not to use it. I can draw just about anything, if I so choose, and work very hard to make my artwork a pleasure for commissioners and regular viewers.

Though only sixteen, I have gotten multiple comments from art teachers that I am better than most college students (one such comment coming from my college class instructor). Other than for class work, I make my artwork mostly for myself -- with some characters that I've had for over 9 years now. I have a fair sense of humor, and take a large, grim grin to any art theives, liars, and just plain punks I happen across. So, keep this in mind: If you steal my hard work, I will eventually find out -- and have your head. (This threat is rather idle, but I will take legal force.)

I am currently engaged, to James (I will not release his last name). We have been dating for over two years now -- without a single break-up! I'm fairly proud of this -- it's the most official, long-lived relationships I've ever been in (without the Internet). Yaaaaayyyy.
